Engelbert's son, Robert Schodterer I and his son Robert Schodterer II took care of the preservation of the villa during the interwar and postwar years.
In 2006, the owners, Gerold and Heimo Schodterer, renovated the Villa Schodterer with great attention to cultural empathy and today the villa is one of the most beautiful buildings in Bad Ischl
With the two Apartments „Refugium“ and „Nostalgie“ the Family Schodterer honors the long tradition of Bad Ischl's villas to welcome guests in exclusive ambiance. The art in Galerie-Apartment „Refugium“ is made by Karoline Schodterer and can be bought as well.
Water with its naturalness is inspiration and fascination for Karoline. Since years she explains her feelings for this Nature set in different ways on her paintings as well as the raves, her second passion.

With its 53 qm the Galerie-Apartment „Refugium“ offers a nice holiday home with bedroom, living room with sofa bed, kitchen, bathroom and balcony.
Old restored wooden floors, selected lamps and the warm colores as well as the
lovely decoration convert this apartment to a well-being area in one of Bad Ischl's most beautiful Villa's.
The whole apartment is equiped by a local carpenter and decorated with
love.
With its size of 43 qm the holiday home Nostalgie-Apartment „Kleinod“ offers a bedroom, living room, small kitchen and a lovely decorated bath room.
Collected with love, mostly antique this apartment offers you the feeling of the Emperor's time years ago. This is how you think about the Sissi time!
But it is not only the Emperors atmosphere also some flower details shows the handsome charactore of the owner who loves to offer you a special stay in her home.
There is no parking at the Villa itself but directly in front. The blue zones are to pay from 8 am to 6 pm and the big parking place nearby offers a parking alternativ. For the huge parking Bad Ischl offers a 100 hrs parking ticket, which we handover on check in if you book it. The 100 hour ticket costs € 20,00 at the moment and is also to by directly at the local office Bad Ischl.
